Legal Assistant, Stamford

Under the supervision of the Stamford Site Supervisor, Legal Services Program, the Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing primary administrative support for casework and assisting with outreach and education activities of IICONN’s Legal Services Program. This position requires a self-directed, highly organized and detail-oriented person with experience working with immigrant populations. It is a part-time position.

Legal Assistant

Under the supervision of the Managing Attorney of Immigration Legal Services Program, the Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing primary administrative support for casework and assisting with outreach and education activities of IICONN’s Legal Services Program. This position requires a self-directed, highly organized and detail-oriented person with experience working with immigrant populations. It is a full-time position. In supporting community outreach and education, the Legal Assistant will occasionally work some evenings and weekends, to effectively reach immigrant communities throughout the state. The Legal Assistant must have their own transportation; however, travel costs are reimbursable.

Multilingual Case Aide, Survivor Services

The Multilingual Case Aide will assist the Survivor Services Case Manager with the provision of care to survivors of torture and their families, and act as an interpreter/translator as needed. This position will take ownership over psychosocial wellness groups, including attending and leading groups. This is a part-time position.
